Elevator Pitch No. 2 : Week 7

I kept my pitch very similar to the original version. some of the feedback i received was that the idea was very innovative and the liked how i made it relevant. some of the feedback i received was that they provided me with background info on the high heel to state the importance of this need for women and how long its been a problem. i also received a question for how it would be made or implemented. so in my second attempt i tried to maintain my level of comfort in my tone and delivery as well as my eagerness about the product. i also even when adding in these new info and changes i tried to stay as close to the 60 secs as i could.

  1. Maria,

As someone who really enjoys wearing heels but sometimes doesn't simply because my feet are still too sore and blistered from wearing heels the night before, I think that this is a wonderful idea. I have bought "Fast Flats" to keep in my purse for when I can't bear my heels any longer, but in actuality I never think to bring them with me, nor do I have the space for them in my small crossbody. Also, they are really more like house slippers and are unrealistic to put on for the outdoors. If I knew that I could compress my heels whenever my feet began to hurt, I would not be so concerned about putting on heels for the evening. Nice pitch overall and great job at identifying a need and creating a solution!

    Best of luck!

  2. Well obviously, as a male, I am not in the market for snap-off heels. However, you do have a large market that you could go after with this idea, from businesswomen, to flight attendants, etc. It is a very smart idea that a lot of women would love. I think they should be relatively good looking that women would want to buy them. Also, with your pitch, I liked the tone and dynamism of your delivery, however I think you spent more time on the problem and not enough on the solution, so I think you should even it out a bit more. Other than that, good work. Here is the link to my post http://stefanent3003.blogspot.com/2016/02/elevator-pitch-no-2.html

  3. Hi Maria,
I really like your idea. I were heels whenever I go out and I always bring flats in my car because walking in heels is a lot of work. By the time you get out of wherever you’re going you just want to take them off. You also don’t want t wear them any more hours than you have to. I like that you want to make sure that they are designer as well because most women like designer shoes and those are the ones that hurt the worst
